Bio:

Chris Haraden returned to Jack Conway & Co. in 2010 to become the firm’s director of agent services. He handles education, career development, and recruitment for the company.

As director of agent services, Haraden oversees Conway's industry-leading education program and develops online programs and webinars for training. He leads the firm’s efforts to expand its sales force, supports agents in the field, and devises and implements staff development initiatives companywide.

A former real estate reporter for Banker & Tradesman, he has been a copy editor and managing editor for Community Newspaper Co., was the founding editor of Boston Homes, and was managing editor of The Hull Times. He served as public relations director for the Jack Conway organization from 1998-2006.

Haraden holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and urban planning/public policy from New York University. He is the author of two nationally distributed books on regional history: Storm of the Century: New England’s Great Blizzard of 1978, and Hull and Nantasket Beach: Then and Now. For six years, he and his wife, Marilyn, owned and operated Westwinds Bookshop in Duxbury, the oldest independent bookseller on the South Shore. They live in Hanover with their sons, Matthew and Adam.
