Swampscott Real Estate Office Reopening.

The Conway team and friends cut the ribbon outside the newly designed office at 410 Humphrey Street in Swampscott.

On a sun-drenched spring afternoon, more than 70 guests celebrated the recent grand re-opening of Jack Conway Realtor’s Swampscott office in its new headquarters at 410 Humphrey Street. “It’s so exciting to be operating out of brand new, exquisitely decorated space that looks out on the sea and the Boston skyline,” said Conway-Swampscott Manager Nancy Hughes. “We have been doing business here since January during construction and renovation, but we wanted to show off our completed office with all of its beautiful bells and whistles.” The new Swampscott office, designed by Conway Director of Corporate Branding Kelly Waterfield, offers WiFi accessibility, an open floor plan and cutting-edge technology for its agents, co-brokers and the public. Conway President/CEO Carol Bulman welcomed guests to the ribbon cutting ceremony in the company’s first sales center north of Boston. Town officials on hand for the festivities were Selectman Glenn Kessler and Chamber of Commerce President Leslie Gould. Conway's Swampscott Team at the Lynn Chamber of Commerce

Jack Conway, Realtor’s Swampscott Office recently hosted a booth at the Lynn Chamber of Commerce’s Home, Garden and Health Show. The event, which took place at Swampscott High School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., drew hundreds of visitors to view the wares of vendors ranging from cosmetic dentists to mortgage lenders, along with cooking demonstrations, guest lectures and a keynote speech by Dr. Sheldon Sevinor, a celebrated plastic surgeon.

“The home show was a great chance for my agents to get out and talk real estate with potential buyers and sellers and other members of the community,” said Conway-Swampscott Manager Tim Knowlton. “We were the only Realtors there, and we came away with many new friends and several new customers.”

Hosting the Conway booth during the day-long event were Swampscott sales associates Lisa Scourtas, Amanda Brawley, Paul Ferraro, Teresa Flaherty, Sue Garcelon, Barbara Kennedy-White, Glenn Kessler, Ronnie Northrop, and Sue Sinrich, as well as loan specialist Chris Curran of New England Mortgage Partners, the financial arm of Jack Conway, Realtor.

Owning a Home Today May Cost LESS than Renting an Apartment

That’s the message Jack Conway, Realtor is sending out to renters in the cities and towns it serves.

Owning a Home Cheaper than Renting

Owning a Home Cheaper than Renting?

All Conway sales centers are launching a direct mail campaign that will include customized charts comparing renters’ actual monthly payments to monthly mortgage costs for sample houses and condominiums in their area.

Renters are also invited to attend free Home Ownership Consultations in your local Conway office with Realtors and mortgage specialists on designated evenings during the week.

“According to statistics reported by the National Multi-Housing Council, at least one third of renters are planning to move in the spring and another third in the fall,” said Conway Regional VP Dick Cahill, who launched the new initiative. “That’s why we are reaching out to these potential buyers now while they are considering other housing options and before they decide to renew their leases.”

Conway CEO Carol Bulman believes the time is right to target the rental population since housing prices have stabilized and mortgage interest rates remain near record lows:

These factors along with the advantages of home ownership; building equity, tax deductible mortgage interest, and stable monthly payments, make this the right time to spread the word that renters may actually be able to finance a home for less than what they’re paying their landlord.

Most people understand that buying a house makes sense, but they don’t think they can afford it.  We’re asking them to read our mailings, come to one of our free consultations and explore their options. The dream of homeownership could become a reality far sooner than they think.
