The Jack Conway Relocation Department is growing again! Kristen Morse, a top Conway agent and recent manager of the company’s Norwell office, has been appointed Outgoing Relocation and Network Manager.

“Kristen will be responsible for taking referrals from Conway agents who have buyers or sellers who want to relocate anywhere in the world,” said Conway CEO Carol Bulman. “She will work with these clients to find them a Realtor through our giant international relocation network, and follow-up with them throughout their transactions. I know Kristen’s excellent work ethic, and she will be a great asset to our Relo division.”

Conway Director of Relocation DKristen Morse from Jack Conway Realtorsawn Stevens was happy to welcome Morse to her headquarters team. “During her first year with our company, Kristen earned the nickname ‘The Relo Queen of Conway Country’ for referring so many members of her family across the nation,” said Stevens. “And almost every year, she has won our annual company award for the agent with the most outgoing referrals. She knows how our system works, and she has hit the ground running.”

A Norwell resident, Morse relocated to Massachusetts from her native Syracuse, N.Y. in 1973. “When we moved to the Boston area, we needed a Realtor who could offer us the full picture,” she said. “I wanted to find someone who could talk to me about the flavor of different communities, about the schools and the amenities of various towns. But I ended up doing a lot of the research myself. I’ll never let that happen to any of my clients. My goal is to help people make smooth, trouble free, relocations and I will remain in contact with them from start to finish to make sure they’re satisfied.”

Morse is a member of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and the former president of ReVerse Greetings Company, Inc. She helped launch the Nickerson Theater in Norwell (now the Company Theatre) and joined the Conway-Norwell sales team in 1998 where she served as an agent and later as manager. She holds an associate’s degree from Massasoit College and attended Syracuse University and the New York School of Interior Design. She has two grown sons, Sean and Justin, and a 4-month-old grandson, Onyx.

While driving around the community of Southfield you’ll notice something that may seem a bit out of the ordinary for most towns –a large plane on display next door to the town’s Welcome Center. Over the past 50 years the area now known as Southfield has been home to over 80 different types of aircraft. Until 1997, this area was the South Weymouth Naval Air Station.

Southfield MAHistoric Airbase

The 6 million dollar project to create a Naval Air Base was originally started in 1940. Over 1,000 acres of land within the towns of South Weymouth, Rockland and Abington were acquired by the U.S. Navy to build an airbase for dirigibles (blimps) used to patrol the North Atlantic Ocean during World War II. Although the last operating blimp squadron of the U.S. Navy was disestablished in 1961, the South Weymouth Naval Air Station continued to operate as an important base for New England.

Today, at Shea Field Memorial Grove, located across the street from Southfield’s Welcome Center, features a retired A-4 Skyhawk Navy jet fighter. The plane was dedicated in 2004 to commemorate the Base’s 55+ years of service to the Navy and New England.

Dawn Stevens, a longtime Jack Conway Realtor and manager, has been appointed director of relocation for the 42-office real estate firm, according to a statement issued today by Conway CEO Carol Bulman. Stevens heads Conway’s award-winning relocation division, which assists corporate transferees, individuals and families who are moving into or out of Massachusetts to any destination in the world.

“We provide a wide spectrum of services to help people make a smooth transition to their new homes,” said Stevens. “We offer professional counseling, provide statistics on any geographic area they are considering, and connect them with expert agents nationwide and in 30 foreign countries.”

Stevens is responsible for all incoming and outgoing referrals between Conway and its international relocation network, the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LeadingRE). She serves as Conway’s liaison to the 550 independent real estate firms and 140,000 Realtors in the global network. Stevens holds her RCC (Relocation Certified Coordinator) designation, and is a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist and member of the nationwide SRES Council, which addresses the needs of home buyers and sellers aged 50 and over.

“As a longtime Conway employee, I have already developed some good friendships in the relocation world,” said Stevens, who has participated in numerous LeadingRE conventions and conferences. “I’m looking forward to meeting old friends, making new relationships, and generating more relocation business for our company.”

Stevens, a Hanson mother of two, joined the Jack Conway Hanson office as a sales agent in 1989. She transferred to the Norwell Headquarters 10 years later and became a vital member of the Conway Relocation team. “Dawn’s enthusiasm and dedication led to her appointment as director of several of our key programs,” said Bulman. “She was registrar of our Conway Referral Registry, a lead-generating group of 650 inactive real estate licensees, and she directs our Senior Services Division, a group of 90 top agents who are trained to meet the unique real estate needs of seniors.”

In addition to her work responsibilities, Stevens served as Conway’s volunteer coordinator of the annual MainSpring “Dishin’ it Up for the Homeless” charity event for 12 years. She solicited and collected thousands of auction items from businesses and individual sponsors to fund programs and services designed to end homelessness in Massachusetts.

Norwell — Once again, Jack Conway Realtor has been selected as the Massachusetts marketing agent for a nationwide industry leader. The giant MI Group, a global provider of relocation services to corporations around the world, recently appointed Conway to handle all of its domestic relocations to the Bay State area.

“We are thrilled to enter into this partnership with MI,” said Carol Bulman, chief executive officer of Jack Conway & Co. “Maureen McCaffrey, our president of Corporate Services, was instrumental in procuring this new business for us, and I am very grateful to her.”

Since 2009, McCaffrey had been networking with her peers at the MI Group to create a relationship between the two firms. “MI managers recently made the official announcement of their company’s partnership with Conway,” said McCaffrey. “From now on, we will service all corporate transferees coming into Massachusetts from MI’s offices in New York, Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Calgary and Toronto.”

McCaffrey said the alignment between the 54-year-old privately owned real estate firm and the 31-year-old MI Group, is a “natural” one. “Our values and standards for customer service are very much the same,” said McCaffrey. “MI’s corporate slogan is ‘Our focus is global. Our service is personal.’ Jack Conway could have written that himself. We have a mutual understanding about what it means to ensure smooth and trouble-free relocations for our corporate transferees and their families.”

Jack Conway & Co.’s Corporate Services Division, established in 1956, provides a wide range of relocation services for relocating employees and individuals including: home finding assistance; cost-of-living comparisons; orientation tours; mortgage assistance; community and school profiles; discounted moving services, and spouse counseling and job placement.
