Happy Halloween from Swampscott, Mass. Our newest office and our first North Shore sales location has made a SCARY impact on the locals! They donned costumes and offered treats and tricks for the local adults and children alike at Swampscott’s Annual Octoberfest.

Unfortunately Saturday is my day to babysit my Granddaughter Ally Rose so I couldn’t be there but I was in there in “spirit”! Dick Cahill, Conway Executive who oversees the Swampscott office was there and told me what Manager Tim Knowlton and his team did so perfectly.

“I do not know where to start…Tim and his team have our office decorated to the hilt for the Octoberfest,” said Dick. “The agents and Tim were all dressed up for Halloween, scary and cleverly done. The outside was a masterpiece, cornhusks, balloons, Octoberfest flag, a hidden speaker that is made scary sounds all of which makes us the most outstanding store front on the street. And then there was “Conrad Conway” who handed out candy to those who came in (children and adults) and removed his head — a scary attraction for the children. You would be very proud of the job they have done.”

Al Becker, Director of Marketing for Jack Conway Co., and I recently made a trip to the northernmost point of Conway Country – our new and exciting Swampscott sales office.

Lead by Tim Knowlton, the sales crew in Swampscott is experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic beyond measure about joining our fine company and about the opportunity to service their areas with the Conway brand by their side. We were fortunate to have a meeting with Colleen Sullivan, the residential real estate reporter for the Banker and Tradesman, and we hoped to update her on the goings on of our growing company.

I had an opportunity to meet Colleen at the recent Best in 2010 event and cocktail reception honoring those companies who had received this fine honor from B&T. We were honored to receive the Gold Award the Conway Country Real Estate School, and a silver for our company as a whole out of ALL real estate companies in the state.

Colleen sat in as Al presented to the Swampscott crew the offerings of our new Web site; including the property tours, community pages, Virtual office just for the agents and our new listing presentation for our customers. We talked a lot about ways to communicate via Facebook, direct mail and other medium to keep our customers feeling informed and updated about their real estate goals.

The meeting concluded with 10 minutes or so with Colleen to talk about the real estate market as a whole, in which Conway Country is doing just great.

Our Swampscott sales team with B&T reporter Colleen Sullivan (second from right) and CEO Carol Bulman (far right).

Tim later treated Al and me to an amazing lunch at The Dolphin at Marblehead Harbor. This is a beautiful area and there are lots of opportunities for the folks of Conway Country to assist the fine residents of this picturesque part of the world. Tim and his agents serve Swampscott, Nahant, Marblehead, Salem and Lynn from their convenient location at 646 Humphrey Street in Swampscott. The number is 781-584-4757 if you’d like to give us a call!

Swampscott – The Jack Conway, Realtor Swampscott office sales team recently took part in The 3rd Annual Community Walk for Respect. As part of the Swampscott Task Force for Respect for Human Differences and the Northshore Communities, the Conway agents greeted all the walkers at a table.

“This was an outstanding event and chance for us to see all of our friends in the North Shore community,” said manager Tim Knowlton. “Conway is a company that’s committed to getting involved, and this is a great opportunity for that.”

Knowlton was joined by agents Ronnie Northrop, Lisa Scourtas, Marlene Badalato, and Paula Bouchard. All of the proceeds of the event went back to the schools and the community toward support of anti-bias education.
