This fall, Jack Conway agents are getting an inside look at some of the tools, technology and business strategies Mike Bulman and Marley Snyder have spent more than six months researching, testing and learning about through Conway Next.
Mike, Jack Conway’s Vice President of Strategy, and Marley, Productivity Specialist, began taking Conway Next to offices in late summer. The training brings together work they have been doing throughout the year, from exploring new technology and changes in search to participating in training programs, learning from industry speakers and keeping up with what is happening across real estate right now.
Just as important are the ideas coming from within Conway. Mike and Marley host bi-monthly brainstorming sessions with agents, where conversations often turn to what people are trying, what they are seeing in their businesses and the tools or approaches worth taking a closer look at. Those conversations, along with feedback from agents across the company, continue to influence what Mike and Marley research and explore.
Conway Next brings a selection of that work into one training, with a focus on four areas of an agent’s business: getting found, spotting intent, staying remembered and responding better.
The idea is not to cover every new platform or trend. It is to give Conway agents a closer look at some of the changes Mike and Marley have been following, the technology they have been exploring and the opportunities they believe are worth understanding as the business continues to evolve.
Search Is Changing
A significant part of that work has centered on the way people search for information online.
AI is now woven into much of the online search experience. Search engines are increasingly using AI to interpret questions, understand context and surface information, while dedicated AI platforms are giving consumers entirely new ways to research. For real estate professionals, that shift makes the quality, clarity and consistency of the information connected to their digital presence more important than ever.
Conway Next introduces agents to what is changing and some of the considerations that come with it. Mike and Marley have spent considerable time following developments in this area, particularly as search platforms continue to incorporate artificial intelligence and the way information is discovered online evolves.
The technology is moving quickly, which is exactly why it has become part of the Conway Next conversation. Rather than trying to predict where search goes next, the training helps agents understand what is happening now and why it deserves their attention.
Building for What Comes Next
Some of that research has also led to resources developed specifically for Jack Conway agents.
Marley developed the Conway Bio Builder, a custom GPT created around her ongoing research into AI-powered search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). She has continued to develop the tool as new research emerges and the search environment changes.
The Bio Builder helps agents create professional bios that provide clear, consistent information across their online presence while still sounding like the person behind the business. Agents can incorporate their experience, areas of focus and professional background while adding as much personality and detail as they choose.
There is a technical strategy behind how the tool has been developed, but there is an equally important principle behind it: using AI should not mean sounding like AI. The technology can help organize and strengthen information, while the agent’s own experience and voice remain at the center.
The Bio Builder is one example of how the research behind Conway Next can turn into something created specifically for Conway agents.
There Is More to the Conversation Than AI
AI and search are timely parts of Conway Next, but they are only part of the training.
Mike and Marley also look at the broader process of building and maintaining a real estate business, including visibility, recognizing potential opportunities, staying connected with past clients and referral partners, and responding thoughtfully when new business develops.
The session introduces agents to a mix of strategies, technology and resources connected to those areas. Some are newer developments, while others offer a different way to think about tools and opportunities that may already be available to them.
Much of that material stays where it is most useful: in the room with the agents attending the training. Conway Next is designed to give them information they can consider in the context of their own businesses, ask questions about and continue exploring after the session.
Taking Conway Next on the Road
Instead of holding one company-wide presentation, Mike and Marley are taking Conway Next directly to Jack Conway offices.
The roadshow began in late summer and continues through the fall, with stops across Conway Country including Walpole, Marshfield, Canton and Dorchester, West Roxbury, Hanover, Mansfield, Plymouth and Sandwich, Dartmouth, Lakeville, Scituate, Hingham and Hull, Swampscott, Mattapoisett and Wareham, and Bridgewater.
Bringing the training into individual offices gives agents an opportunity to ask questions and talk through the material together. It also gives Mike and Marley a chance to hear what agents in different parts of Conway Country are seeing in their own businesses.
Those conversations matter because Conway Next is still developing. Questions raised during a session can lead Mike and Marley to look further into a topic, while something an agent shares may introduce another idea worth researching.
Agents also leave with resources from the session and an opportunity to identify the ideas that make the most sense for their own business. The emphasis is on thoughtful application, giving agents the information and context to decide what is useful to them.
What Comes Next
Conway Next will continue to change along with the subjects it covers. Search technology will evolve, new tools will emerge and the way consumers interact with real estate information will continue to shift.
Mike and Marley will keep doing what led to the program in the first place: researching, learning, testing, listening to agents and paying attention to developments that may be worth bringing back to Conway Country.
For Jack Conway agents, Conway Next creates a place for those conversations to continue and for new ideas to be explored with the people who understand their business.
