This note is long overdue but I still wanted to send you feedback about Mary Kelly. I hadn't moved in 13 years and you forget how time consuming a move after all that time and getting into a new routine is paired with long hours at work and here we are almost a year and a half later. Mary sold my condo in Dorchester in August 2015. We began the process in May after I moved out and had some work done on the condo to get it ready to show. I had a couple of realtors in mind when getting ready to sell and Mary was referred to me by my neighbor Crystal on Jones Hill. Mary's pitch was well organized and convincing. I liked the fact that she lives in Dorchester and knows the neighborhood well. I was excited to get on the market at end of Spring/beginning of Summer and Mary was enthusiastic. She was sure it would be an easy sell. Mary held several open houses and compiled an excellent photo shoot and video for the on line sites. The condo really showed well! The condo is a unique property; converted 3rd story attic of a steep A roof Queen Anne Victorian all open floor plan no enclosed bedrooms but plenty of natural light with skylightslarge dormer bathroom a beautiful turret with open witches hat a large private deck and central air. It seemed however that summer everyone browsing in Dorchester was looking for traditional floor-plan with bedrooms. I was slightly discouraged this being my first time selling but Mary remained upbeat and continued to show the property. This was by no means a trophy property but Mary worked very hard to sell it and I appreciated her efforts. We finally received an offer which after some great negotiation by Mary became an accepted offer. Mary continued to work with the seller's and my attorney to work through the paperwork inspection punch list making sure the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms were properly installed etc. There was one electrical issue toward the end and Mary had a great Master Electrician referral for me who was able to diagnose and correct the problem quickly so we could move on to closing. I have to admit that being a first time seller and a long time commercial banker I became a little impatient with the sellers and their attorney but Mary kept me grounded and assured me there was nothing out of the ordinary about this closing process. We finally had a closing date Friday August 7th. Of course there were some final delays the day before closing so we thought we would have to postpone til Monday. But in the end we had an afternoon closing and I was overjoyed that the process had finally come to an end! In summary Mary was well organized positive diligent and always professional. I really felt that she had my best interests in mind through the whole process. I was happy to have worked with her. And if and when I decide to get back into the real estate game (I went back to renting for now) I will certainly consider Jack Conway to assist me in finding that perfect property. Thank you for your time and regards Gregory Sparapani
